TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOOKING AND PURCHASING OF HOTEL’S ROOM,  AIRLINE’S TICKET AND OTHERS TRAVEL RELATED PRODUCTS

 


 

 

This Website www.j-leisure.net is managed by J-LEISURE CORPORATION PTE LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as “J-Leisure” ) with its registered address at #44-02, One Raffles Place, Tower 1, Singapore 048616. The user of this portal is then referred to as "USER" or "AGENT".

Access - Username and Password are given specific to each agent only. If the Agent forgets the password, please contact us. The agent is then responsible for reservation, invoices and all actions happening in the agent's account.

 

GENERAL

J-Leisure acts only as intermediary between the Agents and the concerned hotels, airlines, transportation, subagents, and other suppliers. We issue vouchers and other documents based on supplier's terms and conditions. Participation in any J-Leisure or arrangement implies agreement to these terms and condition by the originating tour operator/travel agent and individual traveller(s).

The Agent agrees that J-Leisure cannot be held responsible for any problems, deficiencies or changes in travel services which we cannot control, including but not limited to delays, cancellations, breakdowns or accidents in flights or other services, mistakes and over bookings by hotels or airlines, or any problem concerning the Traveler's health, luggage or possessions or additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any Service Provider or by "force majeure" or other events beyond J-Leisure control, including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, pilferage, delays, severe weather, Acts of God, Acts of Government, accidents to or failure of machinery, equipment, vehicles or industrial disputes.

J-Leisure reserves the right to cancel the whole or any part of the booking at any time as a result of force majeure or for reasons outside J-Leisure control. J-Leisure is not liable for any customer in the event of dissatisfaction based on personal opinion regarding the standard of service or accommodation provided by any Service Provider nor is liable or responsible for any disappointment, distress, lack of enjoyment arising from any act or omission whatsoever.

J-Leisure will only acknowledge liability in the case of proven justified complaints relating to specific and tangible inadequacies of facilities, accommodation or services provided.

The content of this website is subject to change without prior notice. J-Leisure will tries our best to ensure the correctness of information provided but cannot guarantee or accept any responsibility for inaccuracy of the information.

All description, images and other information presented are provided by the hotels, airlines and/or third party vendors. J-Leisure tries our best to update User on the renovation, withdrawal or amendment of facilities. However, since J-Leisure does not operate the hotels, airlines and/ or third party vendors products ourselves, we are not liable for subsequent changes. Hence requests for refunds are subjected to the Terms and Conditions of the Suppliers. The Agent accepts that certain images are for promotional purposes only and may be different from the actual products.

AGENT is responsible to provide all the information to the AGENT’s final consumer and for ensuring that the General Conditions stated in this Terms and Conditions are brought to the attention of, and agreed with, their final consumers, intermediaries, and all other interested parties, prior to entering into any agreement with those parties to which these Terms and Conditions might apply.

Due to the special characteristics of the electronic commerce, the AGENT hereby acknowledges the impossibility of handwritten signature for this transaction. Therefore, the AGENT hereby accepts that there is no need for handwritten signature and the AGENT also accepts to be bound by the acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of the J-Leisure upon making the reservation.

AGENT warrants that i) it will make legitimate enquiries or bookings for the AGENT or any other person for whom the AGENT is legally authorised to act; ii) that its user is at least 18 years of age or over and have legal capacity to use the J-Leisure B2B Online reservation and booking engine and, iii) that all personal information submitted during the bookings process is correct and AGENT accepts financial responsibility for all transactions made under AGENT name or account.

J-Leisure reserves the right to change these terms and conditions and the booking is conditioned upon the terms and conditions present at the time of use.

Additional terms and conditions may apply to reservations, and other uses of portions of this site, and the Agent agrees to abide by such other terms and conditions.

This Agreement and its performance shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and any dispute concerning it or its interpretation shall be adjudicated in that jurisdiction.

This User Agreement, together with any terms and conditions incorporated or referred to herein, constitute the entire agreement between the Agent and J-Leisure relating to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) regarding the subject matter, and may not be amended or modified except in writing or by making such amendments or modifications available on this site.

INFORMATION TO BE PROVIDED BY CLIENT

AGENT is obliged to provide the Retail Agency or, if applicable, the final consumer, the following data:

  • What is included and not included in the price of services.
  • The regulations and consequences of a no show by the final consumer at the establishment, of regulations regarding cancellations, annulments and modifications, as well as of any possible name changes of the commercial name of the hotel or airline plus the possible existence of any taxes.
  • That all the users, without exception (children included) must have current personal and family documentation, either passport or National Identity Document, as required by the country or countries visited.
  • All extra services (special meals, extra beds, cots/cribs etc).

The final consumer shall be liable for obtaining the documentation required at destination, such as visas, ID’s, passport, medical documents, etc. and J-Leisure shall not be liable for any circumstance or expense incurred due to lack of documentation or non-compliance of requirements.

  • That for all intents and purposes, regarding transport by land, it is understood that the user shall carry with him/her all their luggage and personal belongings, irrespective of the location within the vehicle where these are stowed, and that such luggage and personal belongings are carried at the user’s own risk. Users are recommended to be present during handling, loading and unloading of luggage.
  • With regard to transport of luggage by air, by rail, by sea or by river, the general terms and conditions applicable to transportation companies shall apply, with the ticket being the binding document between the aforementioned companies and the passenger. In the event of any damage or loss, the consumer shall at that time make a claim to the transport company.

    Whenever the Package Travel Regulation must be applied due to the intention to include any of the services provided by J-Leisure in a Package Travel, AGENT undertakes to strictly comply with the Package Travel Regulation and/or any legislation that develops, adds to and, when appropriate, replaces them, delivering or enabling the delivery of all the appropriate information to the final consumer, requesting its signature and approval on the package travel conditions when necessary.

    All rates quoted are in US Dollars unless otherwise agreed and are valid for FIT bookings only. Payment must be made in currency quoted.

Hotel And Travel Related Products Reservation and Booking Policy.

  1. Rates-

    All rates for hotel’s room are shown based on a per room and per night basis and net from all taxes unless otherwise noted and non inclusive of current Value Added Tax.

    All rates are not allow for hotel membership, Frequent Flyer points accrual and are not valid with other promotions.

    Some special or promotion rates have special requirements so please verify that travelers qualify for the rates that have been booked. Hotel properties are not obligated to honor this rate if travelers do not qualify, which may result in refusal to check in or additional charges. J-Leisure will not take any responsibilities for such incident.

    AGENT shall be the only one responsible and liable to pay any kind of government taxes, Value Added Tax, charges for insurance cover, national insurance, social security as well as any other fee payable to local authorities, related to his activity and status as required by the country or countries of the AGENT.

  2. Rate Changes-

    Rates quoted are correct at the time of display. Room rates and room-included packages may be affected and are subject to change from events such as fluctuation in international rates of exchange, change in Value Added Tax or other government taxes and any other factors beyond our control.

    The user retains the right to cancel his/her booking within the deadline given. Cancellation after the given deadline will incur cancellation charges as advice by the hotels. All hotels have its own cancellation policy, please read through and understand the cancellation policy when you have selected your preferences hotel before making your booking.

  3. Reservations-

    All reservations are subject to availability at the time of request. Maximum details are required to fulfill reservations efficiently, such as passenger's name, arrival- / departure dates, flight details, number of persons, services required and specific room types. J-Leisure will try our best to comply with special customer requests (such as adjoining rooms, smoking/non-smoking rooms, etc.), however these services are rarely guaranteed by any supplier and at times will incur cost and should be considered "on request" only.

    After making a booking request, J-Leisure will update the system regularly to confirm your booking. Selecting "Accept" in the booking page shall be regarded as the firm confirmation of service acceptance. Should the Agent fail to fulfill any booking, for all circumstances, the cancellation, late arrival policy or no-show policy will be applied.

    Once the Agent accepts a confirmed booking, the Agent will receive booking invoice and voucher via email, which is also printable from www.j-leisure.net The voucher(s) is valid for services detailed in the offered conditions. At the time of booking, the Agent MUST ensure that the email address given is correct and reachable. If the Agent does not receive any email from our system within 24 hours, it is required to notify J-Leisure Customer Assistance immediately.

    The Agent must verify that reservation details and vouchers are complete and correct. J-Leisure shall not be responsible for any loss or delay or third party claims caused by any incorrect or incomplete details in the reservation request. The Agent then prints or reproduces this voucher and give to the travelers, who are responsible for safeguarding them. It is also the traveler's responsibility to obtain necessary documentation, passport, or visa for entry into the Country.

    Bookings will be cancelled automatically if not acknowledged ("ACCEPTED") prior to cancellation deadline.

  4. Check In/Out Time-

    Check In/Out Time is determined by individual hotel's policy. Generally, the check-in time is from 14:00hrs onwards and check-out time is at 12-noon. The Agent understands that hotels reserve the right to charge extra fees if the Agent requests for travelers to stay longer than the hotel's check-in and check-out times.

  5. Extra Bed Policy-

    Extra beds for a 3rd person sharing a room are usually of a roll-away type, which in some hotels may mean less space in the guest room. Maximum occupancy of most rooms is three adults, unless specified such as family rooms or suites. Some hotels may not allow extra bed and only allow two adults per room.

  6. Family/ Children Policy-

    Hotels apply their own individual policies for children. Typically, but not always, one child (age 2-12) is allowed to stay free of charge with full-paying adults when using existing bedding. Meal costs for children are often discounted from the adult price and are payable directly to the hotel. Maximum room occupancy is subject to hotel policy. The exact Family/Children Policy is as stated by individual hotels.

  7. Payment–

    The Agent must follow the payment policy granted by J-Leisure.

    For non-credit Agent, all payments must be received by J-Leisure either by credit card payment or by bank transfer within the deadline given. Unless otherwise pre-arranged, the specific reservations will be automatically cancelled. The Hotel and Service vouchers will be active when the payment is received in full. J-Leisure cannot be held responsible for inactive vouchers due to the Agent's failure to meet payment deadline. Payment must be made in the currency quoted.

    For credit card payment, the Agent's credit card will be blocked for the full amount of the reservation at the time of the booking, and charged when the booking is confirmed. If J-Leisure cannot confirm the booking we will release the blocked amount from the credit card. The Agent accepts that J-Leisure will not be liable for any foreign exchange risk and fluctuation in converting the charge amount to the Agent's local currency. Additional Credit Card Fee will be added to the invoice for all credit card transactions. This fee is not part of the booking services and is not refundable in any circumstances.

    For Agent with credit line, it must complete file a separate credit application form. Once credit line is granted, the Agent may make reservation within the credit limit given only. If the limit is reached, the Agent must transfer payment to J-Leisure in order to free its credit line and make further reservations. The credit amount is automatically deducted when a booking is confirmed.

  8. Amendments-

    Once travel has commenced, changes initiated at the traveler's request will be accomplished whenever possible. Prior authorization from the tour operator/travel agent /corporate account or cash payment from the passenger will be required. Penalties, if any, will be collected or invoiced accordingly. Refunds or adjustments due from prepaid services will be made to the tour operator/travel agent /corporate account after any penalties are assessed.

    Any changes to the Agent's reservation must be made through J-Leisure’s Customer Assistance  in writing (customerassistance@j-leisure.net), quoting the booking reference number and booking name the Agent originally used to make the booking.

    All requests for additional nights or rooms are subject to room availability. All amendments and additional charges including penalties are subject to deadline and amendment policy.

    Amendments are only effective when J-Leisure has confirmed by email. The shortening of stay including, but not limited to, early check-outs, late arrival or early departure, and reduction of number of rooms or people are considered as partial cancellation which is subject to individual hotel and establishment cancellation policy. The Agent accepts that it may not receive any refund for shortening of stay.

  9. Prepaid Reservations or Advance Purchase Rates-

    Many pre-paid reservations do not accept any changes. The payment will be forfeited in case of amendments. We strongly recommend that the Agent studies the individual rate rules attached to each rate.

  10. Cancellations-

    All services have a Cancellation Deadline, which varies by suppliers/hotels depending on the location and season. J-Leisure strongly recommends that the Agent checks the cancellation policies carefully. They are available online on your booking form and in the reservation email. Actual deadline will be advised to you on confirmation of your reservation.

    All cancellation requests must be made via J-Leisure and in writing and quoting the booking reference number and the booking name originally used to make the booking AND must arrive at J-Leisure before 16:00hrs ( J-Leisure local time is GMT+8:00). Cancellations are only effective when J-Leisure have confirmed by email. Proof of sending is not regarded as proof of delivery.

    Cancellations made prior to the Deadline will receive a full credit refund, less Credit Card Fee if applicable. The credit will be kept for your next booking.

    Cancellations made after the Deadline will incur a penalty charge as per stated cancellation policy of the hotel/supplier. The balance of payment, if any, will be carried forward for the next booking. General rules for cancellation of hotel reservation (unless indicated otherwise in the individual rates and/or bookings) are as follows as each hotel cancellation policy spelled out in the search result page.

    In case of early check-out or shortening of stay, no refund will be made unless the Hotelier or Supplier has accepted and signed differently. Refunds are ONLY possible upon presentation of this written confirmation with authorized signature from the Hoteliers or Supplier.

  11. Special Events-

    For certain special rates or periods, hotels may require a minimum length of stay. These special rates or periods are such as New Year, Christmas, any other National or Local holidays and summer promotion rates.

    Certain hotels organize compulsory gala dinners during Christmas, New Year's Eve and other special holidays. These dinners are compulsory and must be paid for by staying clients with no exception. If the hotels announce compulsory dinners after the booking dates, clients must pay for these dinners directly to the hotels or through agents. Prices and child conditions for gala dinners differ between hotels.

    In the periods of high occupancy and Special Events, the hotel shall impose stricter policies and longer cancellation deadlines. The policy will supersede the general terms and conditions. In general 100% penalty charge of the total stay will be applied upon cancellation, no matter the reasons or circumstances.

  12. Pre-payment-

    No changes are allow under pre- paid reservation. The pre-payment will be forfeited in case of cancellation. In case of Agent with credit, a 100% penalty charge will be added to the Agent's account. J-Leisure strongly recommends that the agent studies the individual rate rules applicable and attached to each rate.

  13. No Show-

    If the travelers fail to show up at the airport or hotel and cancellation has not been received at our office and confirmed by email, no refund will be made.

  14. Refunds-

    If the travelers fail to show up at the airport or hotel and cancellation has not been received at our office and confirmed by email, no refund will be made.

  15. Refunds-

    Refund will be made in the form of a credit balance to the Agent's account. If the Agent requests a transfer of refund back to original source, J-leisure will only return the amount received at our bank and less any local and overseas bank handling charges. The transfer can only be made to the Agent's name and not other account.

    The refund amount will be made in USD or unless agreed currency, equivalent to the amount which shall be confirmed to the Agent before the cancellation transaction is processed. The Agent acknowledges and accepts that J-Leisure shall not be liable for, or responsible for any foreign exchange rate risk (exchange rate movements and rate fluctuations) in converting the refund amount to the Agent's local currency.

    All credit card refunds will be processed in a timely manner. The refund process is dependent on the Agent's billing cycle with the credit card company. Once the refund instructions leave our office it can take anywhere from 30 - 45 working days for the proceeds to arrive in the Agent's account.

  16. Not included-

    Service Rates do not include airport taxes, meals unless specified, drinks, expenses of a personal nature, visa fees and gratuities to Tour Guide, driver and room maid. Rates covered the services indicated on the voucher only and do not include the incidentals such as meals other than indicated, phone calls, airport taxes, meals unless specified, drinks, expenses of a personal nature, visa fees and gratuities to Tour Guide, driver and room maid.

  17. Claims-

    The Agent should advise travelers to contact J-Leisure immediately if there is any problem with the reservation upon arrival or during the stay. These claims must be reported while services purchased from www.j-leisure.net are still valid, for remedial action to resolve any problem or irregularity at that time.

    The Agent must report all claims in writing and in every possible detail to aid J-Leisure in fully investigating and acting on any complaint. Should the Agent fail to report to J-Leisure the problems or claims within 3 days from its time of occurrence, it shall be deemed that the Agent agrees to release J-Leisure from any damages incurred there from.

Airline Reservation And Booking Policy

  1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION-

    J-Leisure provides its AGENT with a range of different services, including information services on the flights available for specific flight legs and on the companies which operate those flights, as well as a price comparison system for the flights which interest its AGENT. In addition to these information services, AGENT have access to a web application which allows them to directly process their booking and purchasing requests for a given flight with a selected airline and to purchase any additional services directly from the J-Leisure website (www.j-leisure.net) without the need for a separate parallel connection to the airline's own website or the websites of any third parties providing the flight (the "Web Application"). In this way, we believe to make it easier for our AGENT to select and purchase their flights, allowing them more immediate verification of the availability of flights, the option to click through to another choice in real time in the case that there are no seats available with the AGENT's first choice of operator, the use of a AGENT friendly electronic system with which they are familiar from previous bookings and last but not least, the use of a secure payment system available through our website.

    In the case that you wish to use our platform to process your booking and purchase request for a given air ticket, the terms and conditions below will apply. Please read them with due care and attention, as you must accept them before using our service, along with the general usage conditions and the contractual conditions of the airline operating the flight which you have chosen.

    J-Leisure and its licensors hold and will continue to hold all rights to the Web Application. You may use the Web Application only in accordance with this agreement and within the limits of respect of the rights of third parties (the "Service").

    Any booking or purchase order made this way is a direct operation carried out by you and takes the form of your contractual offer for the purchase of an air ticket or other product to which these contractual conditions apply. Please be informed that, except in the case of the purchase of tickets for charter flights, J-Leisure only operates as the provider of an electronic application providing assistance and support with your purchases: this means that the purchase contract for the ticket(s) is signed only between you and the airline or flight provider. The contract may be considered formally signed between you and the air transport operator upon your receipt of the email confirming that your booking has been accepted. Any travel services other than or in addition to the flights which you book through J-Leisure are subject to a new search and selection operation for which J-Leisure offers its assistance and support with your purchase: in this case, you will also be directly responsible for the relative purchase contracts with third party suppliers selected by you.

    By processing and sending your purchase order, you are directly carrying out the transmission - via the Web Application - of your personal data to the airline or service provider. In any case, since your data also become available to J-Leisure, you are automatically authorizing J-Leisure to process and store that data and to transmit them to the service provider for any need relating to your booking and your purchase order. In this regard, you hereby declare and guarantee that: (i) the data that you provide are correct and (ii) your credit card has sufficient funds available to pay for the item(s) you have ordered. In relation to each air ticket and the relative flight, specific additional conditions may be set out which pertain to the tariff applicable to your ticket. Depending on the rates and the airline, for example, it may not be possible to cancel the ticket or receive any reimbursement, or the ticket may be subject to other limitations regarding your itinerary or reimbursements.

    You will be personally responsible for adhering to all the contractual conditions set out by the airline, regarding the check-in schedule, the confirmation of flights and other issues.

  2. RESPONSIBILITY-

    Since J-Leisure operates as a provider of an electronic assistance and support service for the compilation and forwarding of your booking and purchase order, J-Leisure does not accept any contractual responsibility in your regard in relation to the management of the flight. However, J-leisure may accept responsibility towards you in the case that it has acted negligently or has violated applicable legislation or the contractual obligations relating to its role as a service provider and intermediary. J-Leisure may not in any case be held responsible for failure by the airline or service provider to adhere to their contractual obligations.

    All of the flights located through the website www.j-leisure.net (the "Website") are the responsibility only of the airlines or tourism service providers which offer them, and which will be solely responsible for the flight, for the signing of the contract and for any deviation, defect, damage or loss in relation to the flights themselves and to the travel tickets generated for the flights purchased by you.

    The relationship between AGENT and J-Leisure is governed, as far as is permitted by applicable legislation, by Singapore law. As far as is permitted by applicable legislation and by international agreements, the parties agree that the definition of any dispute which may occur between them relating to the present conditions and the relationship forged between them will be managed under the exclusive jurisdiction of the ordinary courts competent for J-Leisure. J-Leisure also reserves the right to summon you in front of the competent court for your domicile.

     

  3. PURCHASE PROCESS AND ORDER CONFIRMATION
    1. 3.1 BOOKING CONFIRMATION AND GENERATION OF TICKETS

      Once AGENT have completed the purchasing process, AGENT will receive a confirmation email containing all the details of the itinerary which you have booked. Your booking will not be confirmed until your purchase order is accepted by the airline and you receive your confirmation email.

      The booking request made by the AGENT via the Website, after having read and accepted the present terms and conditions, has the value of a contractual proposal for the booking of the selected travel ticket up until your order is either accepted or refused by the airline, and you will be informed of the outcome promptly by email.

    2. 3.2 ELECTRONIC TICKET (E-TICKET)

      The confirmation email for your booking constitutes your electronic ticket. The email contains the data which have been automatically transmitted to us by the airline/air transport operator and is identified through a booking code known as a PNR (Passenger Name Record). If the journey which you have booked requires the use of an electronic ticket, all you need to do to depart is present a valid identification document. However, please note that for some airlines (e.g. Ryanair), passengers must also check-in online before arriving at the airport and print their relative boarding cards. Failure to complete this procedure carries specific penalties.

    3. 3.3 DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO CONFIRM YOUR BOOKING

      In order to ensure greater security for all clients, we may request that documentation which proves the identities of the applicant and/or the passengers is sent to us by email. It is possible to book on behalf of third parties and not participate in the journey purchased, but in this case also, we may require identification documentation or request a statement from the AGENT or AGENT’s client making the payment.

    4. 3.4 HOW TO PROCEED IF YOUR BOOKING CONFIRMATION IS NOT RECEIVED

      If you do not succeed in completing your booking, or if you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of completing your order, please contact our Customer Assistance by email or telephone for verification. Please remember to specify that you have tried to make a booking online, but you have not been successful.

    5. 3.5 INCORRECT ENTRY OF NAMES, DATES AND/OR TIMES

      In the case of incorrect entry of the passenger name, or the date and/or time of the flight, please contact our Customer Assistance urgently to check if it is possible to modify the booking, clearly specifying that you have made a mistake when using our online booking system. We will check with the airline that the ticket has not been generated, as after generation of the ticket, no changes or cancellations will be possible. Changes and cancellations will be made at the airline or the provider"s discretion.

  4. ORDER MODIFICATION REQUESTS
    1. 4.1 CHANGES TO THE BOOKING (NAME, DATE AND FLIGHT LEG)

      The tickets generated indicated the names of the passengers to which they belong, and may not be transferred to third parties. Any modification to the date and/or name and/or flight leg after the purchase of the air ticket has been confirmed may carry a penalty dictated by the regulations of the airline and/or provider which are in force at the time at which the change is requested, as well as a possible rate adjustment. In addition to penalty fees charged by flight airline and / or by supplier, customer will be charged an additional cost, per (each) passenger and per (each) route, for further service being offered by J-Leisure.

      Please also note that some airlines do not allow any modifications at all: in this case, in order for modifications to be made, it may be necessary to purchase a new ticket. If the Passenger's name has not been entered correctly, it may be necessary to cancel the booking and purchase a new ticket.

      For low cost airlines, please see the table of conditions for the main airlines. All change requests must be made base on the terms and conditions set by the airlines carrier.

    2. 4.2 CANCELLATION OF A TICKET AT THE PASSENGER"S REQUEST

      To cancel a flight, you should contact J-Leisure Customer's Assistance department by telephone. Our team will check whether it is possible to cancel your booking and the conditions which govern that cancellation. Any cancellation requests made via other channels (e.g. by email) will not be processed by J-Leisure. Please be informed that many rates are subject to cancellation penalties or in some cases are non-reimbursable. Decisions about refunds and their expected timings are strictly up to the airline and /or the provider. In addition to the penalty fee charged by the airline and/or by the provider, an extra fee will be charged, it will apply per booking, due to further service provided by J-Leisure, Please be informed that the airline and/or provider may take up to 12 months to dispatch the reimbursement.

    3. 4.3 TICKET NON-USE - PASSENGER NO-SHOW

      If you renounce to a flight for reasons not attributable to the airline or J-Leisure, or you do not show up for boarding in the time allotted, you may be eligible, depending on applicable fare rules, to a partial refund of the unused ticket. In this regard, we invite you to consult the airline terms and conditions directly.

    4. 4.4 SCHEDULE CHANGE / FLIGHT CANCELLATION CAUSED BY THE AIRLINE /PROVIDER

      If by chance passenger were entitled to get a refund for his booking and/or for one or more flights, included in the booking , due to departure schedule changes caused by the airline/provider, and/or due to flight cancellations caused by the airline/provider, an extra fee will be charged, it will apply per booking, due to further service provided by J-Leisure, except for applications for immediate refund settled by voucher. We inform you that the refund settlement might require a long time, even a few months (up to twelve months for some flight airlines).

  5. ADDITIONAL SERVICES
    1. 5.1 REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES

      Airlines offer to passengers a number of additional services, free of charge or on payment (e.g. extra baggage, speedy boarding, web check-in, etc.), that can be purchased or used even after the booking and the flight ticket purchase. In addition to the service fees, fixed by the airline/provider, also when the service is free of charge, an extra cost will be charged, it will apply per passenger, due to the assistance service provided by J-Leisure. As for requests for any additional services, contact J-leisure Customer’s Assistance , by telephone: Our Customer’s Assistance (customerassistance@j-leisure.net) will verify if the requested service (offered by the airline either on payment or free of charge) is feasible. J-Leisure might not handle any possible requests submitted through different channels (for example via e-mail).

      Requests can be submitted up to 48 hours prior to departure; if departure is expected to be on Sunday or Monday, requests will have to be submitted no later than Friday before.

    2. 5.2 ADDITIONAL SERVICES PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS

      Additional services provided by third party suppliers can be booked through our website.

      No refund is allow in case of cancellation requested by passenger.

  6. PAYMENT CONDITIONS: PURCHASES MADE WITH A CREDIT CARD

    For purchases made with credit cards or debit cards, ticket generation is automatic in the majority of cases. If the booking has been confirmed, at the end of the purchase process we will send you a confirmation email. In some cases, in order to ensure greater security for our clients, we may request that scan documentation proving the identities of the applicant and/or the passengers is sent to us by email. Only after having checked the validity of the documents will we generate the tickets and send the confirmation email.

    The use of a credit card indicates your irrevocable commitment to paying for the items purchased. The obligation to pay may not apply only in the case of loss, theft or fraudulent use of your credit card. Except in the aforementioned cases, permitted within the limitations of the law, the holder of the credit card, depending on the situation, may be held fully liable for fraud, in the case that he/she objects to a payment which has previously been authorized. In particular, the right to object to a payment may not be used to bypass the right of withdrawal applicable in the tourism sector.

    If the booking is not confirmed by the airline, due to the fact that the selected flight or elements thereof are no longer available, no debit will be made from the credit card used during the booking phase. You are to immediately communicate to your bank the cancellation of the transaction, which will not action any withdrawal of credit until the booking has been confirmed, rather only freezing the sum which is the subject of the transaction. Therefore, if the booking is not confirmed, neither the airline nor J-Leisure will receive any credit.

    However, one feature of payments made with credit cards is that they may include, in accordance with the specific rules of each issuing Institute, a temporary block, which may last up to several days, of the sum which would have been paid by you if the purchase had been concluded. The time period for previously blocked sums to become available once again, varies from one Issuer to another (usually between 3 and 20 days). You personally may contact your Issuer for information on this matter and to shorten the restoration time for the aforementioned sums.

  7. REQUESTING AN INVOICE

    To request an invoice, please complete the appropriate section on the page which follows the payment page. The invoice will be sent by e-mail within 15 days of the corresponding request.

  8. SELECTION OF APPLICABLE LAW AND EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION

    The Terms and Conditions and the relationship between the User and J-Leisure are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and any dispute concerning it or its interpretation shall be adjudicated in that jurisdiction. As far as is permitted by applicable legislation and by international agreements, the parties agree that the definition of any dispute which may occur between them relating to the terms and conditions and the relationship forged between them will be managed under the exclusive jurisdiction of the ordinary courts competent for J-Leisure. J-leisure also reserves the right to summon the User to the competent courts for the User's domicile.

  9. FUEL COST ADJUSTMENT

    The situation regarding the increasing cost of oil is also affecting the tourism sector, having an impact on the cost of air transport. Consequently, the overall cost of flights already purchased may rise before the time of departure. The increased cost of fuel, specifically for the air sector, known as "jet fuel", cannot be forecasted or determined for the departure date at the time of purchasing, especially when the departure is scheduled to take place after a certain period of time. For this reason, the legislation in force allows air transport and tourism operators to adjust the value of the price of a flight when there are significant increases in fuel costs. It will then become necessary for the Passenger to pay this sum. Failure to pay for the jet fuel will mean that the booking is cancelled with no reimbursement of sums already paid.

  10. AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT TAX

    A few airports have introduced a tax, due to airport development, in order to improve airport infrastructures and passengers services and as well upkeep and develop the airport routes network.

    Passengers, departing from any airports that apply the tax mentioned above, will have to go through the requested payment, by using specific automatic cash machines or the airport website, and then show the payment receipt at the security desks. If they don't have that receipt, passengers will not be allowed to get into the boarding area. Passenger only is responsible as he is supposed to have all necessary papers: we therefore advise him to verify, before his departure, if the tax possibly applies, or to go along to the airport on time in order to go through the payment operation.

  11. CONDITIONS SPECIFIC TO THE AIRLINE

    In relation to the air ticket and the relative flight which you have booked, there are specific and additional conditions set out by the airline which apply to your booking along with J-Leisure own terms and conditions. By using the Services, you are declaring that you have read and accepted the airline's terms and conditions.

    The specific conditions set out by the airline providing the flight which you have selected for this flight leg can be consulted via the airline website like in: https://www.cebupacificair.com/Pages/terms-and-conditions-of-carriage.aspx.

    For your convenience, please find below some information which you can consult initially:

    • - Latest check-in Time: 45 min.
    • - Hand baggage: Max 5 kg. Allowance of hand baggage can be different depending on the routes.
    • - Checked-in baggage: Max 10 kg. The company requires a payment for the checked in luggage. The reservation includes 1 HAND LUGGAGE FOR PASSENGER.

  12. Rates

    All rates for Airline are shown based on a per destination and per one way basis unless otherwise noted, and exclusive of current Value Added Tax. All rates are not allow for airline’s membership, Frequent Flyer points accrual and are not valid with other promotions.

    Some special or promotion rates have special requirements so please verify that travelers qualify for the rates that have been booked. Airlines are not obligated to honor this rate if travelers do not qualify, which may result in refusal to check in or additional charges. J-Leisure will not take any responsibilities for such incident.

    AGENT shall be the only one responsible and liable to pay any kind of goverment taxes, value added tax, charges for insurance cover, national insurance, social security as well as any other fee payable to local authorities, related to his activity and status as required by the country or countries of the AGENT.

  13. Rate Changes

    Rates quoted are correct at the time of display. Rates may be affected and are subject to change from events such as fluctuation in international rates of exchange, change in Value Added Tax or other government taxes and any other factors beyond our control.

    The user retains the right to cancel his/her booking within the deadline given. Cancellation after the given deadline will incur cancellation charges as advice by the Airline’s Carrier. All Airline Carrier have its own cancellation policy, please read through and understand the cancellation policy when you have selected your preferences airline before making your booking.
